시골의사님의 블로그에 You Raise Me Up 이라는 노래가 떠있어서 오랜만에 저도 감상을 했습니다. 생각난 김에 YouTube에 있는 Josh Groban의 Video 영상도 함께 감상을 했습니다. (시골의사님은 Westlife의 You Raise Me Up을 올리셨습니다. 원곡은 Secret Garden 이라는 Irish-Norwegian 듀엣 가수가 불렀는데, 그 이후에 Josh Groban, Russell Watson, Westlife, Sissel, Becky Taylor, Celtic Woman, LENA PARK, 그리고 Il Divo등의 수 많은 가수들이 다시 불러왔습니다.)

노래는 결코 기독교를 직접적으로 드러내고 있지는 않지만, 내용상 기독교의 하나님에 대한 분위기를 간접적으로 드러내고 있는듯 싶습니다.

저에게 위로가 되는 가사는 내가 정말 힘들고 어려울때, 내가 혼자이지 않으며, 그와 함께 할때, 비로소 내가 나인 것 이상으로 그가 일으키신다는 내용입니다. 그가 나를 일으켜 세울때, 비로소 나는 정상에 설 수 있으며, 그가 나를 일으킬때, 비로소 나는 폭풍의 바다위를 걸을 수 있다는 가사는 요즘같이 어려운 시대에 힘이 되어주는 듯 싶습니다.

요즘 힘드신 분들, 같이 노래를 들으면서 힘내시기를 기원합니다.
