I think the most successful conversion from cartoon/comic to movies are Marvel’s one. I haven’t seen any other cartoon had been succeeded like Marvel.

The movie from Marvel is not too much violent and grotesque like the original cartoon, and they deliver a certain short message which is not too complicated and difficult to figure out. I think it is one of the keys to success for them.
